Founding Farmers, Washington D.C.

Who would have thought a restaurant in Washington D.C. would be one of my all time favourites and a highlight from my recent trip across the States!

Founding Farmers is always busy. I would definitely recommend booking in advance – it’s super easy, I’m not entirely sure why more people don’t. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, you’re probably up for an hour wait. I personally prefer to go for lunch or dinner, the breakfast was delicious but not as good as the full menu. The only reason I say this is because I LOVE the corn bread. If you’re trying to be healthy – you will want to break your diet for the corn bread, it is to-die-for. I also love the farm to table concept, everything is made from scratch and only the best quality produce is used.
