Plenty, Brisbane

Brunch at Plenty

I love visiting Brisbane. As mentioned in a couple of my other posts, the Brisbane dining scene is up and coming. There are many trendy, health-inspired places which making choosing a place for breakfast or brunch challenging!

My friend suggested Plenty as she had heard great reviews, we did some Instagram stalking and decided to try it out. It took us around half an hour to walk from South Brisbane to Plenty in West End, we didn’t wait too long for a table given it was peak brunch time.

The place is industrial-looking and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty has a great energy, it’s incredibly spacious and boasts a menu made up of locally grown food.

We both ordered the same – poached eggs with carrot puree, smoked ham hock, goats cheese and pistachios. Honestly, this was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. There was no need for additional seasoning, the flavours and textures all complimented each other. The ingredients tasted fresh and you knew what you were eating. We left feeling completely satisfied. If I did ratings it would easily be a 10/10!

Looking forward to my next trip to Brisbane, I want to try more on the Plenty menu!

  1. Hi Wandering Mason, what a lovely piece to read, thank you so much. The harissa carrot dish is one of our all time faves, so we’re incredibly chuffed you enjoyed it so. We hope to see you back in the cafe soon. Great pic, by the way!
