Night Noodle Markets 2013

Easily my favourite food festival of the year! It’s Good Food Month here in Sydney and nothing beats the Night Noodle Markets in Hyde Park North. Having first started in 1998, the markets continue to be the landmark event for Good Food Month. The atmosphere buzzes with energy and the aroma of authentic Asian cuisine fills the air. With daylight savings having kicked in, it is a beautiful time to enjoy being outdoors in the evening. With over 40 stalls there is something for everyone. Here are my personal favourites:

  • Roti from Mamak
  • Dumplings from Din Tai Fung
  • BBQ Pork Buns from Let’s Do Yum Cha
  • Banh Mi from Poklol

I also enjoy the delights of Chinta Ria, Mizuya, Chat Thai and Ippudo Sydney.

Whether you go once or ten times, the Night Noodle Market offers a great night out this October. Night Noodle Markets – Good Food Month When: October 9-12, 14-19, 21-26; Mon-Tue 5-9pm; Wed 5-10pm; Thur-Fri 5-11pm; Sat 4-10pm Where: Hyde Park North, Sydney
