After weeks of craving rice paper rolls, Amy and I decided that today was the day. We love experimenting with fresh ingredients and flavours and were really happy with how our rice paper roll feast turned out. Everything was made from scratch, starting with the marinade for our sliced chicken breast and pork mince.
We made our own traditional Nuoc Mam dipping sauce.
The meat was then cooked over high heat until brown and caramelised.
Our fresh vegetables to compliment were prepped.
Once done, we were able to sit down to a delicious, fresh feed.
I find the idea of making your own rice paper rolls a great dinner party option as it gets everyone involved. It’s a little bit fiddly to begin with but that’s half the fun!
