My friend and I visited Barcelona during our trip to Europe. The weather was beautiful, warm and sunny, everything you’d expect during summer. We stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Casa Fuster which is on Passeig de Gracia. The nearby area is wonderful with access to high-end shopping, restaurants and some of the city’s great architecture.
Our room had small terrace which overlooked the city and La Sagrada Familia. I enjoyed taking in the view from the terrace, it was beautiful, especially with the great summer weather. The breakfast offered at the hotel was the only buffet style we experienced on our travels and a buffet it most certainly was. Made-to-order omelettes, full hot breakfast selection, fresh fruit (delicious!), pastries, muesli, cakes, cheese plates and chocolate. One evening we enjoyed piña coladas at the hotel’s rooftop bar, the view of the city at night was beautiful. The hotel also has a lobby bar, Galaxó Restauran Café Vienés, which is great for drinks, light snacks and meals.
